Jeff Hale (b. Denver, Colorado, 1975) was raised in Boulder, Colorado. He studied Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado. After moving to New York City in 2000 he began making paintings incorporating objects, debris, and reclaimed materials from the street. In 2006, he left Brooklyn to study painting and drawing at The University
of Washington, in Seattle where he received his MFA. He is currently working in Providence, RI as a designer and artist. He is an Adjunct Professor of Painting & Drawing at Rhode Island College.
